Working outdoors with living plants, shrubs, flowers, vines and trees is what attracted me to gardening. Nature is full of intrigue and surprises, and directly experiencing the rich diversity in the Toronto area ecosystem is fascinating. There is always more to learn about gardening! Having a background in art and photography, designing gardens came naturally to me. It’s so rewarding to imagine, research, design, then install a garden and watch it grow into a beautiful oasis. Renewing neglected, overgrown gardens and bringing them back to health and order is an uplifting project. Entering my 10th season as a professional gardener, I’m excited about working on new projects and caring for the many gardens I’ve nurtured for years.
